About Mum Thrive

What is Mum Thrive?

Mum Thrive is a wholeness community for mums. We support and connect you through motherhood with community, practical resources and trusted support, caring for your body, soul and spirit.

Who is Mum Thrive for?

Right now, most of our mums have babies, toddlers and young children, but every mum is welcome.

Who started Mum Thrive?

Dr Adaeze Tony-Nnamah (Dr Dezie), a mum, General Practitioner and Lifestyle & Wellness Coach based in Accra.

Do I have to be a Christian to join?

Not at all. Mum Thrive is built on Christian faith, and that shapes how we care for you. But every mum is welcome here, just as she is.

Community

Is it free to join?

Yes. Joining our WhatsApp community is completely free.

How do I join?

Tap “Join the community” anywhere on this website. It opens our WhatsApp channel, then just tap “Follow”.

How do I find out about gatherings?

Our gatherings are shared only with the community. Join the WhatsApp channel to be the first to know.

Support

What kind of support can I get?

Emotional support and therapy, help with a healthier lifestyle, life coaching, faith, and connection to communities near you. We'll send you trusted contacts that match what you need.

Is support free?

Connecting you is always free, and Mum Thrive doesn't take a fee from anyone we refer you to. If you use a professional's services, you pay them directly.

How quickly will you reply?

Within 24 hours. If it's an emergency, please go to your nearest hospital or call emergency services straight away.

Is Mum Thrive a medical service?

No. Dr Dezie is a doctor, but Mum Thrive offers community, general information and connection to support. It doesn't replace care from your own doctor.

Is what I share private?

Yes. What you share stays with Mum Thrive and is only used to help you.

Getting involved

You can sponsor a mum, support a gathering, partner with us or offer your services. Visit our Support a Mum page to get in touch.

I'm a doctor, therapist, doula or coach. Can I help?

We'd love that. Visit our Support a Mum page and choose “Offer a service or resource”.

Can I share my story?
